Terms of Service

Last updated October 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of CodeStride, the website at codestride.dev and our apps. By creating an account you agree to them. We have tried to keep them short and in plain language.

On this page

01Who we are

CodeStride is operated by CodeStride Learning, Inc. ("CodeStride", "we", "us"). You can reach us at support@codestride.dev.

These terms are a contract between you and CodeStride. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

02Your account

You need an account to track progress and access paid content. Sign-in is passwordless: we email a one-time code or you sign in with Apple, Google, GitHub or LinkedIn.

An account can be signed in on one device at a time. Signing in on a new device ends the session on the previous one.

You are responsible for keeping access to your email and connected accounts secure, and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use CodeStride.

03Plans and payment

The first lessons of every course are free. The Languages Plan and Interview Prep are paid, either yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase, separately or as a discounted bundle. Interview Prep does not require the Languages Plan.

Prices are shown before you pay and include no hidden fees. Yearly plans renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Payments on the web are processed by Stripe and in our iOS app by Apple; we never see or store your full card number.

04Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a yearly plan at any time from Settings. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

05Using the content

Courses, examples, problems and solutions are owned by CodeStride or our licensors and are provided for your personal learning. You may not copy, resell, scrape or redistribute them.

The code you write in the editor is yours. By submitting it you grant us a licence to run it, store it and use it in anonymised form to improve the service.

06Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or probe the service, share your account, circumvent paywalls, or use the code editor to attack other systems. We may suspend accounts that do.

07Availability and changes

We work hard to keep CodeStride available, but it is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime. We may change, add or remove features and courses over time. If we discontinue a lifetime product, we will provide a reasonable alternative or a pro-rata refund.

08Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CodeStride is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

09Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will email you or show a notice in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use CodeStride after that means you accept the new terms.
